Season-ending injuries are heartbreaking for football players, and especially for seniors. After all the high hopes and hard work, a kid’s final high school season is wiped out by something he can’t control.
But it might be more crushing for a player to learn that his football dream has been cut short, or humbled considerably, because he’s simply not good enough.
