High school coaches are often on the front lines when it comes to helping their players get recruited. The process has changed drastically since HUDL was founded in 2006.
Now — instead of making phone calls to college recruiters on behalf of players — high school coaches are responsible for gathering video, editing and supplying college recruiters with that video.
“To me, HUDL has been a game changer,” said Michael Clark, regional football recruiting analyst for Scout.com. “Not to take away from what anybody else has done, but HUDL is such a simple concept.
“To have a software so readily available and so easy that anybody can use it is just genius. It’s amazing the change and affect it has had on recruiting.”
