Don’t underestimate the importance of rest and recovery.
A huge problem in high school:
“We looked out of shape in the last game. We need to run some more this week.”
OR
“We have had 2 days off. We need to run to stay in shape.”
That’s not how physiology works, guys. This is the mindset we just help change, especially in season.
